22 April 2013 - Chargecooler, hoses and scary bodywork!

Cor, it's been a while! :D The weather being uncooperative hasn't helped progress, but some things have been done....

I fitted the odd hose connector thing into the chargecooler reservoir, it's tight but it fits. How it got inside I don't know!

Much better. Chargecooler is now working and filled up with blue coolant. I had a cunning plan and put pink in the engine coolant so if there's a leak, I'll know where it's from. 8) 

I also got round to taking the reverse lock out and Bill managed to fix it-Yay! And I've adjusted the little rod at the bottom of the gear lever, it was very worn on one side, so now works really well and the other side can get some wear instead.
 
On looking at the engine bay the other day, I decided that it was a bit dull and needed brightening up, so armed with 6m (takes a bit more than standard) of silicone vacuum hose, I gave it the Girly treatment.

I'm currently trying to get pink brake hoses too, but it's proving a long wait, may have to go for purple. Boo.
 
And now it's time for the scary stuff :argh: I'd grab a strong drink and a cushion to hide behind if I were you-this aint pretty......it's Driveshaft Tunnel From Hell!!!!
